-
Regional Sales Manager, Jewish HomeLife 2018 - 2022
I was recruited to JHL after a 4 year stay with Belmont Village. My talents have always lied in the ability to transform a community that has been underperforming and turn it around in a short period of time. After increasing occupancy by 32%, culminating in Berman Commons’ first months of 100% resident occupancy and selling over $2 million in revenue since 2019, I was promoted to the role of Area Sales Manager.
My main responsibilities are to incorporate marketing plans, data-driven insights on industry trends, sales techniques, and strategic direction into the revenue growth process. I incorporate true data analysis while interviewing, hiring, training, supporting, coaching, and using my ability to mentor/motivate new sales teams through in-person/remote consulting and collaborating.
I conduct orientation for company employees on customer service skills and train sales teams in packaging JHL subsidiary services. I measure business metrics and assess financial profitability. I, as well as my teams, call on hospitals, acute care rehabs, and doctors (ranging from primary care to gerontologists). I also create 5 year strategic summaries and area-wide competitive analysis for my portfolio which leads to better sales outcomes for my teams. Finally, I am responsible for putting together a brand new training program as well as providing the backbone for a new bridge program between assisted living and memory care.
-
Director of Sales, Belmont Village (Buckhead) 2014 - 2018
I was recruited to Belmont in early 2014. When I arrived, the community had moved on from its previous two sales people and was struggling badly in residency census. Within a year, I had gotten us back on track; to the point that by 2015, we were almost full. By mid-2015, we were rolling and ultimately achieved 100% occupancy results for 18 straight months (11/15 – 4/17). I also started to build my colleague network by mentoring and coaching other sales pros around the southeast through prospecting, planning and organization.
Over my time at Belmont, we generated over $3 million in revenue despite pricing challenges (market cost leader), and ever-growing marketplace competition. I became adept at sales management and inquiry conversion over the life cycle of a sale. I developed the ability to coordinate relationships, prepare/oversee high-quality sales strategies, and conduct complex negotiations while using consistent problem-solving skills.
